Awarded Le Cordon Bleu Master's of Gastronomic Tourism from Southern Cross University

Yet further evidence of Barringtons' staff commitment to a culture of continuous learning.

Viktoria Darabi, Contract Trainer & Social Media & Content Marketing Co-ordinator  our head office in Castle Hill, was awarded her Le Cordon Bleu Master's of Gastronomic Tourism on 5 May 2018 from Southern Cross University.

Eight units were awarded through Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) and the remaining units covered were:

Principles of Gastronomy (1600 to 1950)
Food and Drink in Contemporary Society (1950- Present Day)
Gastronomy and Communication
Events Management
Gastronomic Tourism
Business Research Methods
Industry Research Project - "Waking the Culinary Tourism Sleeping Giant in Sydney's West" (2 units)

About Southern Cross University

Southern Cross University has granted recognition of the Barringtons ClubsNSW  Future Club Leaders program curriculum. The recognition counts for up to 50 per cent advanced standing of the 24 competency units in the Bachelor of Business in International Hospitality Management (Gaming Major).


This means that Future Club Leader graduates may only need to complete 12 units to attain a degree and gain the necessary skills to be a Registered Club Executive.
